Morning Wake-Up

I love seeing this in the morning. Enjoying a slow morning wake up movie in Grandma & Grandpa's 5th Wheel. What's even cuter is my sister just posted the same thing. Check it out: Babies in Bed.

Park Fun

After naps (nice loooong one for Ivory--score!) we headed to the park and met up with our friends Addie & Melissa. Great weather for some park fun!

Micah enjoyed walking around, sliding, swinging, and standing this visit.

Addie with her excited "oooo!" face as she saw Micah. Addie loves Micah!

Check out those tiny feet walking with Daddy.

Micah *loved* sliding.

Check out that tongue!

Ivory "helping" catch Micah.

Ivory practicing her climbing skills with daddy.

Addie the brave. Such a little climber...even from great heights. Mom, "Adelaide, stay on the steps, stop climbing!"

Sweet little face.

Grandmother's Drawing

I happen to love that we have this piece of art from Jason's grandmother. So special. These are historical buildings in Mississippi, where she lives.

When Jason was ordained two summers ago we had the pleasure of receiving her into our home for a few days. I thoroughly enjoyed the hours we spent conversing. I love learning about her life and am blessed by her long and faithful dedication to Christ. She had a very challenging childhood, becoming an orphan at a very young age. She has not seemed to allow this to keep her from becoming a beautiful woman of God. Of course, by no means, would she claim perfection, and none of us would attempt to give her that title, but I am blessed to know her just the little that I do and only wish Mississippi weren't so far away so we could visit much more often.

Fun with Aunt Mel

Aunt Mel brings fun things like Princess painting, tea cup measuring cups, and creates amazing play dough  creations...for Ivory to destroy.  No wonder Ivory loves Aunt Mel so much! =)

Aunt Mel also brought cute clothes! We love this dress.

And this smile even more.

Our happy little man.

Outside fun!

Yes, look who's standing! For short moments...before head diving into the small pool of water. So funny. He rolled right over and started playing again, what a trooper!

Cup of tea anyone?

Makes a great phone, too.

Little brother is so patient.

Tea party anyone?

Enjoying our time with Aunt Mel!

Went to the beach for a few hours and enjoyed the freezing beautiful weather. I'm a fair weather beach girl. Ivory is not the least bit phased by the cold and was constantly reminded NOT to put her feet in the water.  You know how it is...feet becomes shins, which then becomes knees...to waist...etc.

Beautiful sunset.

After the beach we headed to Peppers for a delish dinner.

Micah enjoyed it...even if he was exhausted.

This is Ivory's absolutely-fascinated-in-awe-expression. There was a mariachi band--SO fun!! Loved it.

Micah heard the band, tapped his hand on his leg to the beat and started "singing." So cute. After this they came by our table, talked to the kids and played the chicken dance for the kids complete with hand motions and a rooster crowing hand. Some softball girls joined them in dancing it out. Ivory *loved* it. Fun, fun!

T-shirt Dress

I completed this dress a while back but wasn't crazy about how it hugged my middle...still working those love handles off post-Micah.  Well, now that those are slowly dissolving and being replaced with baby belly, I put in some prego ruffling on the side and wa-la, a very comfy new prego dress.

Everyday Happenings

Enjoying our freshly baked bread made from freshly ground wheat.  Love this stuff. 24 vitamins in this bread.  Good stuff.

Ivory prefers fruit for breakfast. Not going to complain about that request!

The girl LOVES her some fruit. Ivory helped make this fruit salad for Nina's baby shower.

Ivory set aside these "tiny grapes" for Micah.

Micah enjoying his "tiny grapes."

How does this smile not melt you?

...and then there's the tongue...

Cutie with a trike.

L-O-V-E this smile.

This morning we were sitting in Ivory's bed reading the Proverb of the day before Ivory got up when she looks over at me (we had stopped to discuss) and says, "I *love* you." Makes my heart sing.

Converted Bookcase

Christina's Baby Shower

Christina and Nate received so many handmade, thoughtful, precious gifts for baby Z.  I was blessed to watch!  I'm grateful for the honor of helping host this baby shower for this precious baby and his sweet family.  Grow healthy and strong baby Z!

Sunshine & Rainbows

Before heading out last Friday afternoon Ivory spent some time outside with Daddy. It's hard keeping a little girl clean & ready to go when she's outside with daddy...but the time is sweet for them and the results are beautiful.

She drew this all by herself!

We left to meet MikeMike, Bobo, Nina & Cassie out at some shops by the beach for lunch & an afternoon of browsing.

Once we met up with them the strollers stayed mostly empty...our kids are so sweetly spoiled.

I have a knack for catching Cassie at the perfect moment. She was seriously smiling 2 seconds before snapping this shot.

Ivory enjoyed her dragon ride.

Micah enjoyed watching.

There's a beautiful butterfly pavilion...but we were all too cheap to spend $3 a person to get in. We looked like little kids trying to peak through the glass to catch a glimpse inside.

Micah with his MikeMike & Nina with her Michael (her purse is sort of hiding her beautiful baby belly).

Of course we stopped by Motherhood. Ivory found the bellies to be fascinating and was determined that her and Cassie wear them. So, of course we had to take a picture!

Our sweet, happy boy.

Our energetic, funny girl.

Here's to hoping your day is filled with sunshine & rainbows!
