Cow Appreciation Day

I've probably mentioned it before, but I can't say often enough how much we LOVE Chik-fil-a. Excellent service, friendly smiles, correct orders, delicious food, and generous portions.  I've come in often with two little ones and received help getting booster chairs, high chairs, placemats, condiments, refills, etc.  It's almost like having a waitress--but without the price!  I can always count on friendly service, a warm family atmosphere, and I can never rmember them getting our order wrong.  So, I'm always happy for an excuse to go and Cow Appreciation Day last Friday was, of course, a fantastic reason to go.  Free chicken?  Yes!  Cute cow costumes?  Fun!  Thanks to Melissa for iniviting us!  We had a great time with the Chaney family.  And thanks Melissa for taking pictures since I *gasp* forgot my camera.

Three of the cutest cows:

They loved their food (free kids meals!  And Mom got a free chicken sandwich for my cow top--whoot!) and even more enjoyed the play time that followed.

Micah was so fearless.  He was nearly mowed down most of the play time by kids bigger then him but he was eating it up and totally unphased!  Don't worry, grandparents--daddy was looking out for him.

Our little cows playing together (something they're getting SO much better at!).

Ivory LOVED the Chik-fil-a trip and wanted to go back before we were even home.  She especially loved the life sized cow and kept wanting to find her and give her hugs.

And the crowning glory to our luncheon?  The kids fell asleep on the way home and took good naps upon arriving at home!  Our tired little cows:

When Ivory woke up she just *had* to go on the front porch and watch the big thunderstorm.

One very excited little cow

We even reminisced in our evening bath time (I know you dig my art work ;).

Thanks Chik-fil-a and thanks Chaneys for a great day!

Chick-fil-a, play time and good naps, what more could you ask for? :)

Timothy had his first Chick-fil-a experience over the 4th of July. That's where the "don't you hurt my Timmy" quote came from...it was Timothy's and mommy and daddy first experience in a playroom. Good thing he had great cousins looking after him!
