The day started off right with a walk to the donut shop. This momma figures if we have to wait for baby might as well enjoy the last few splurges before dieting post-birth.
We so enjoy having grandpa join us for our walks. And we were excited that daddy came along!
Ivory loves her some donuts...and her bear. Every time before leaving the house, "Take a blanky? No. Take a bear? Yes." "Take a bear!!"
After getting the car washed I crashed later with a late morning nap. Early morning wake-up doesn't work well with this over-due baby body. Upon waking the hunger struck and we decided we'd make an outing of lunch and head to our local annual Tupelo Festival.
Where you can find the world's finest barbecue
or enjoy some swamp food
and finish it all off with homemade ice cream
made by the finest methods
and if you're as cute as this little girl you can enjoy some of mommy's ice cream cone
grandma's ice cream
and grandpa's ice cream.
This girls loves water--it's difficult keeping her from wading right on in!
Upon seeing the following Ivory promptly grabbed Pa by the hand and led him down the hill for a ride. She really had to twist his arm to get a ride...
She also suckered grandpa into a game of fishing.
and after a few rides down the slide they just *had* to take another train ride before heading home for a nap.

Yes, this girl has her pa wrapped. =)
We took lots of pictures of the trains in hopes that maybe Grandaddy B wants to try creating his own train for the grandkids? I'll make you a conductor hat if you build the train!
