Festival of Praise

My amazing husband was given a vision by God to host a Festival of Praise at our church. He organized & God orchestrated & blessed a day of worship through song, testimonies, Scripture, & fellowship from 8am-4pm. It was INCREDIBLE. God moved. His presence was thick. I have never felt so poured out and exhuasted and yet refreshed in worship. Beautiful time. Felt like biblical times. We had teen worship bands from 5 different churches as well as a drama team. Teens from different denominations came with youth leaders, church leaders, babies & children. What a blessing to worship with the people of God from babies to elders. A beautiful glimpse of what heaven will be like. I felt so blessed to not only watch & be a part, but to stand in worship next to the amazing man God used to organize it. I have an amazing husband, ya'll. He's such a man of God & I'm so excited about what God's doing in & through him!
Dave came from another church to lead our prayer breakfast.

The teens enjoyed basketball between music groups.

We also enjoyed some great fellowship with new & old friends.

Our church generously provided lunch & dinner & the churches generously donated their time & talent which enabled us to host this as a free event.

Raven--a precious girl with an incredible, anointed testimony God's using to touch many lives. God prompted her to share her testimony last minute the day of the concert and she blessed us all with her transparency & boldness. She has a tender hear & sensitive, sweet spirit.

We had a great turn-out! How exciting to see how God's moving in this generation!

I'm so glad people felt comfortable to bring their children & that they participated in the worship services. These kids did so great! Ivory came for 2 worship sets where she danced, clapped & "sang" her little heart out...until she fell asleep & headed home with her mMike & Wobin (pastor & wife).

We had adults & teens alike helping serve food.

Some were a little camera shy...

...but I eventually capture them anyways!

Hannah's moved up into the youth group this year & I'm excited to have her in my Bible Drill Class this year--I anticipate her competing at State with fellow drillers.

Love this girls curls!
