As you can probably see from the video clips, Ivory loves "talking." She babbles almost constantly, enjoying the sound of her own voice. This is probably one of my favorite things to hear--the best music ever. She's become a lot less clingy to mom as she's started feeling a little better. Her nose is still rather runny, she tires more quickly, and she can't shake this cough. But, I'll take her much more cheerful attitude as a sign that she's feeling better.
She now weighs 16 lbs. and definitely wears Mom out when she tries to carry her for any length of time!
We lowered her crib today as we would often go in the nursery to find her on her knees (which makes her level with the top of the crib) or sitting up (which makes her higher then the top of the crib).
She still grabs for *everything* and immediately attempts to taste it. She loves the crunch of fall leaves, likes pulling azaleas to pieces, is fascinated with our sea shell wind chime, finds typing on keyboards to be great fun, and loves feeding herself her own bottle "sometimes". I better go before she wriggles right off my lap...
