Kids Inc. Field Trip

The Kids Inc. group enjoyed an evening at the park eating pizza + playing putt putt last Wednesday night.

Micah loved everything, but especially his time with MikeMike. Ivory reminds me so much of myself.  She's not big on crowds and takes a while to warm up to a new environment where there are a lot of people. She was pretty much whiny until about 15 minutes before leaving. While I was a little annoyed, I understand.  I still struggle to be brave + happy in like situations.

Love that they have each other.  Ivory tried her hand at putt putt for the first time.  She actually did really well, but wasn't too into it and barely lasted two holes.  The biggest hit was the little creek of water.  And why yes that is Micah sitting there with no shorts.  And yes he did throw them in the creek right as I planned to redress him.  Gotta love little boys. 

The Amazing Book

The kids did an AMAZING job Sunday morning presenting their program, The Amazing Book. It was an incredible presentation with lots of facts about the Bible. They quoted the books of the Bible by category (Law, History, Poetry, Major Prophets, Minor Prophets, Gospels, History, Pauline Epistles, General Epistles, Prophecy) as well as singing all 66 of them. They quoted Scriptures, presented the gospel, and were so enthusiastic.

Mrs. Robin, our pastor's wife, Ivory's beloved Bobo, and the fearless leader of the children's ministry of 80+ kids at our church, always does an incredible job directing the kid's programs. Another reason we are so blessed to have them in our church and our lives.


Well, the preschoolers, of course, were not left out! Here's some pictures of our precious little one with her class "singing" some songs at the beginning of the program.

And if you're an extremely dedicated Ivory follower...or you're just bored, here's poor quality, shaky video of the two songs the preschoolers sang.  Oh, and Ivory actually wiggled/danced on stage this time!!  She even tried a hand motion or two...majorly delayed.  =)
