This Hope Concert

We were excited to have the music group This Hope come to our little church Friday for a concert Friday evening. Great music, an even better message.

Ivory all dressed up in her Christmas attire for the concert. Thanks Aunt Caroline! We love the dress! Her eyes got as big as saucers when the singing began--she liked it. However, whenever they stopped singing she let them know exactly what she thought about that! We had many trips out...and in...and out...and in...

We ate dinner with the group after the concert and enjoyed fellowshiping with them. One of the members, Micah, and his wife are expecting their first in February, so it was exciting to talk about their upcoming joy. We also enjoyed talking with another member, his beautiful wife & two kids, Jessica (6) & Joshua (3), beautiful, precious children.

I made a dish of garlic seasoned fall vegetables: red potatoes, carrots, butternut squash.

My favorite bread dish :focaccia: was a smashing hit! This is rather exciting to me as my food is often not all that appealing to the Southerners around here. I don't really cook "Southern."
